Growing up in Newark, NJ I learned to appreciate different things in life. The caring adults, neighbors, teachers, and those that worked in many of the community programs were the real change agents in the lives of so many youths. My love and responsibility for the community is a direct result of what these people poured into my life toward a positive path. The African Proverb “It takes a village to raise a child” continues to embody how I lead. I realize that to sustain positive growth in youth I had to build and strengthen the network between kids and guardians to move all toward a positive path of change.

As a sought after speaker Mr. Glenn’s inner city roots give him a unique perspective in motivating communities toward hope and change. His expertise in mentoring and providing alternatives to destructive lifestyles for families comes with 20 years of experience with world renowned organizations such as the Boys and Girls Club and the YMCA.
WORKSHOPS
Mr. Glenn is guided by the philosophy “It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men.” His workshops focus on youth and family trainings such as Life Navigation, Building Better Bonds, and Educating Urban Youth. Other areas of expertise include educating and mentoring teachers for working in urban areas.
